We designed and executed an online survey with 650 senior decision-makers in manufacturing companies across multiple countries, providing Akeneo with important insights which were used for thought leadership and demand generation.

Akeneo (providers of product experience solutions for business) provide a suite of products that helps brands & retailers to create and share engaging omnichannel product experiences.
They wanted to generate thought leadership & demand gen material around: understanding the current challenges faced by many b2b and b2b2c businesses in regards to product information management; their existing solutions; and their future plans and expectations.
The Methodology
Online Survey of Manufacturing Industry Leaders
A 15-minute online survey was designed and completed by n=650 Senior Decision-makers in manufacturing companies with 100+ employees, who have knowledge and/ or responsibility for product information,
The survey was conducted in: UK (n=150), USA( n=200), France (n=150) and Germany (n=150).
We produced a results presentation, and a concise report structured around the key themes.
The Outcome
Insights Applied to Product & Marketing
Results provided an in-depth picture of current and future plans for product information management professionals, and the findings were used to aid product and marketing planning, including the impact of Product Information Management tools (PIM), Product Experience Management (PXM) solutions and Product Experience (PX) strategies.
